So many women ask me what are good tricep workouts. When I tell them what makes good tricep workouts, they are surprised. They expect me to describe some isolation-type exercise that bends only the elbow, while the rest of the upper body does nothing.
If you feel disgusted that when you stick your arm out in front, the back upper part of it sags like a hammock with a heavy weight in it, then you are in desperate need of GOOD tricep workouts – and I mean VERY GOOD tricep workouts.
You want to be able to hold your arm out and shake it without seeing your triceps area jiggling all over the place. THIS IS POSSIBLE! You do not need to be a man to have an upper arm that’s shake-proof or jiggle-proof!
Few things are more unattractive than flabby, untoned, improperly trained triceps muscles, and if there is excess fat between the muscles and skin, this makes the problem even worse.

Good tricep workouts involve working other major muscle groups WHILE you work the triceps area.
If you want upper arms that don’t hang or shake, and that can rock any sleeveless top, the first step is to stop wasting time with dumbbell kickbacks, pulley push-downs and whatever that machine is that you sit in and place your elbows on a pad in front of your chest, forearms up, and push some handles downward, straightening your arms on top of the pad. WTF is THIS?
Sorry to be blunt, but it is disheartening to see so many women doing the WRONG routines for their upper arms; isolation exercises hardly qualify as good tricep workouts.
What are truly good tricep workouts?
Compound strength training that targets three major muscle groups at once: chest, shoulders and triceps. An example would be the flat and decline bench press.
If you want killer arms AND shoulders AND firmer breasts, you can’t do better than HEAVY chest press moves for good tricep workouts. Compound moves also burn substantial fat.
